I don't usually do a blog post for a family portrait session as they usually consist of only a couple of setups and lots of similar looking pictures, but when we met with Nidhi & Ranjeev's family a couple of weeks ago we ended up doing a few extra setups and pictures, so I thought you might like to see...

These folks just moved into our neighborhood recently and when they booked me for the pictures I thought it would be fun to shoot around Thatcher Woods. Unfortunately a whole mess of mosquito's were also being very busy in the woods that evening so after we got a few shots there we went and found ourselves a mosquito free Tot-Lot to finish up the session. Don't they look great?!

Evelyn's Family 2014

We shot a couple of sessions with Evelyn's family last year and we were very happy to have another opportunity to get together ahead of our big move to Maui in October. Here's the family in Lincoln Park.

Carla & Fabio (plus Mom & Dad)

From time to time life throws you curveballs and you roll with it & hope that your clients can roll with it too. Last weekend was a perfect example of this kind of thing and fortunately we were working with the wonderful Carla & Fabio from Brazil, who started their maternity session on Saturday afternoon in Busse Woods and finished it on Sunday afternoon in Forest Park. They handled it all with grace & good will. 

Thanks so much for being wonderful flexible people to work with. We're looking forward to meeting you new son VERY soon!
