From the Archives #1

From 2000-2005 Gina & I were living in the UK working for the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon. We had a great time during our years there and I had the opportunity to photograph many amazing events & wonderful people.
Today I thought I'd post a couple of galleries of pictures that were created for an exhibition of work for the RSC's education Department. The following is the company's description:

The RSC’s education department worked over a 6 week period with young people from Twickenham Primary School and the College High School in the Kingstanding area of Birmingham. The schools form part of the Kingstanding Excellence in Cities Action Zone initiative. Some of the students worked on Macbeth and some on Romeo and Juliet. All the students came to Stratford to see the current productions of the shows and they then created their own performance pieces, which they performed in their schools for peers and parents.

These photographs are an illustration of the commitment, enthusiasm and raw talent that the students brought to the project.

And just a reminder that the pictures are best viewed in the 'Gallery' format. Just click on the one below and then use your keyboard arrows. Hit f11 for full screen.
