Gabriel & Uzma get engaged

Gabriel wanted to make his proposal to his longtime girlfriend Uzma something special. So he arranged a weekend in Chicago with a Saturday night trip to Navy Pier for the Fireworks & then contacted Marvin & Michele at The Heart Bandits to help arrange some suitable music & photography.
It was a magical night...
 After hanging out for a little while Gabriel & Uzma wandered over to the pier railings where they were serenaded by the fabulous Angela James masquerading as a random street musician 



 They absolutely LOVED the performance and Uzma melted when this was followed by Gabriel's proposal of marriage 

After that I introduced myself, took off my long lens and got a couple of shots on the pier before the fireworks started.







And THAT'S how you do a proposal folks!
